AJ`s Burgers in New Rochelle

Come to AJs for a great burger. You'll get that and great service. Their specials are usually interesting but I know I get a burger when I'm there.AJs did the catering for my wedding on 9/9/17. It was incredible! The slider appetizers were great. Allen and the crew kept the food coming and even got the leftovers into travel containers. Our friends and family were happy to share them with us. Thank you, AJs for making our special day one filled with delicious food, professional service and tasty memories.

Really good burgers, and the garlic fries are something special

You will have a second chance to get a Habenero Cheddar Burger once you ask St. Pete when you arrive at the Pearly Gates ... 'till then you'll simply have to take the trip to AJ's in New Rochelle to try this most outrageously delicious burger ... Hallelujah!

The customer service is consistently prompt, great ambience, very welcoming employees. I will return again when I am in the area.

Amazing food and atmosphere. What was incredible to see was the owner, AJ himself, walking around the entire time, cooking, conversing, helping with silverware etc. He was friendly, kind, and even came to the table to clarify my order. It’s very rare now a days to see an owner and interact with him in such a positive way. Keep on doing what you’re doing AJ, it’s a wonderful place!

The food here is amazing, I’ve been coming here for 8 years plus now. The owner, Alan, is extremely welcoming and makes the entire experience better. They now have healthy meals to go and these meals are not just healthy but also delicious.

Certainly a spot worth visiting, the food is fantastic and well prepared, the costs are affordable and it is constantly clean in here. 5 stars.

This was a nice place to visit. There is a parking just across the street from the restaurant and it is free after 6 pm. The personnel is super nice and fast. It is Friday and it's raining, so we didn't have to wait a minute to be seat. They do not take reservations or American Express ( in case you need to know). I liked the environment and the food very much. No the cheapest place to go, just a good one.

The fries are amazing and the thin crust pizza is awesome. Burgers are huge and juicy.

One of the best places to eat in New Rochelle. Everything is delicious and well prepared. Portions are huge and some of their burgers are so packed full of stuff that it's hard to eat, but it's all so good. They serve you food on frying pans instead of plates. Really cool little touch that makes them unique.

This place is excellent! Convenient prices, large portions and the staff members are constantly welcoming.

We like their burgers and simple foods. For a quick bite or some comfort type foods it’s a good pick.

AJ is super nice. They smoke their own meat in the basement and they pickle their own vegetables. All the food is good - across the board! Eat in or have them cater your event!

My husband and I wanted to try somewhere we hadn’t been yet, and I’m glad we found AJ’s! The food and service were great. It’s rare to find a place that has a really tasty homemade veggie burger (so many are frozen) and AJ’s was very good. My husband had the pulled pork which was also delicious. Both portions were generous. I’m looking forward to going back and trying more!

We finally tried this place for the first time and I can’t say enough nice things. The food was delicious from start to finish. The waiter and staff were extremely attentive. Definitely going to be added to our list of favorite spots to eat out.

Food is delicious and is various! While you wait, you can make some bread into any shape you want and they'll bake it for you. (Homemade appetizer)

This place has delicious food. We love the garlic knots as an appetizer, and the powdered sugar dough bites for dessert. There are some craft beers which are also worth trying. The staff is super friendly. We have gone here many times.

We've been going to AJ's for years. The staff is amazing. The menu is diverse, and I've never had a bad meal there.

We were slightly disappointed this time. Bad choice combined with too greasy of a burger. The meat did not taste seasoned. The artisan bread though is good and would be great well toasted.

If you’ve never been to this restaurant you must go and if you have you will return. The food is superb. The service is top of the line. It was my first time there and all I witnessed is nothing short of perfection.

Our first time here. Omg the food was to die for. Also the service was awesome they are very hands on and understanding. The food is freshly made and the seasonings are great. My husband is a very pickie eater but he is happy and we are playing to return. I'm so glad the other restaurants were either closed or that they were packed. If you are ever in the area please please stop by. I promise you will not be disappointed. So come in and meet the owner Alan. He is a wonderful person and makes you feel so comfortable ❤️. He also gives awesome service. We can't wait to return.

Our server was very polite and friendly!! The food was sooooo delicious !! We had a club burger and a Habnero cheddar burger 🍔🍔🍔🍔 and they were both very juicy and tasty! As for the pulled pork nachos we shared were out of this world!! ❤❤❤

Food is good and we love eating here, except sometime this year they decided to outsource delivery to third party. Forgot our fries and had to issue a credit.Very short sighted decision... saves money, but loses customers....Edited to add that AJ called us back moments later and offered to drive out the fries and a couple of extra burgers. That's customer service - changed a 2 star review back to 5 star.

The Habanaro Burger is to die for, so is the Cuban and the Panko Breaded Chicken Cutlet. The wife likes the Chicken Parm and the Short Ribs. Great and friendly staff and A.J. is the owner!

I like to go with friends to this place with my highest recommendations. I visit this place often. This recommendation is always successful. The the cooking is great and the stuff is very friendly and cooperative. Every time we eat in this place we have a splendid evening. warmly recommended.

First off exceptionally great service. AJ greeted and served us. Funny, friendly, family oriented. Went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Veggie burger was exceptional tasty. Salmon cooked perfection. Definitely will go again.

Pickle salad and coleslaw is on the house! The food is awesome here; come for the lunch menu if you want to be economical but you can always just order sliders if you want a veritable selection of taste. If you want pasta then I suggest you try the penni a la vodka

The food is AMAZING. I recommend any of the burgers and the Green Beans. It is also one of the warmest atmospheres I’ve ever encountered. AJ is always around to shed some good humor. Highly recommend!

Hiiighly recommend the burgers. My bf got the spicy honey chicken sandwich and loved it. The ambiance was chill and the manager made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He even had the kitchen make us standard fries although they weren’t on the menu. Really enjoyed this dinner all around! The caesar was extremely light so I’d recommend adding a protein if it’s your main meal. Oh and the chipotle mayo was bomb.

Cool restaurant! Nice and friendly staff. Our waitress was super nice and helpfull. Pizza was very tasty.

What can I say. This is the best family restaurant that I know of. It is a layup when hanging out with the kids. Best burger I know of.

I crave and travel for their chicken, broccoli rabe, cherry peppers and provolone (dripping with au jus) sandwich. It is ginormous and it out-of-this-world, juicy and delicious. I never make it further than my car before the smell intoxicates my senses and I dig in.

Locally owned place with a great menu. My chicken sandwich was excellent and the fires were perfect. Local beers on tap and coors light cans made a nice selection. It was a Friday night at around 8 and it was packed with a line. Not too many tables so be ready to wait. Staff was so nice and really went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. This place is great. Check it out.

We walked in and waited to be seated for five minutes. No one said a word to us. There was no line. The place was practically empty. So we just left.

This place rocks! We've ordered the Cuban burger many times; I always get it without the sauce and end-up putting mustard on it. It's so good. Service has always been good. The servers are always attentive and well mannered. I'm not a garlic person at all, but my buddies really dig the garlic rolls. We've had the sliders too and they're really good. One of our buddies had the bacon, mac n cheese burger. He loved it. That's just too much for me. The pastrami is delicious! It's also very lean! We always try to hit-up AJ's when in the area.

Nice size, good for groups. Good Service quick with plenty of refills. I had the lunch time chicken sandwich. It was good very good and juicy. Plus, it's easy to find it's on North Ave right across from the New Rochelle City Clerk Office.
